Obviamente se quedaron muchas más en el tintero/teclado/memoria a corto plazo, pero esta es una "selección" de los temas a los que le di play de forma compulsiva durante el año. Ojo, soy conocida como DJ Sin Asco, así que no se sorprendan al ver saltos nada-que-ver entre temas y bandas.

Hace unos días se cumplió un año de mi vuelta a Lima. Ha pasado mucho y nada en este año, muchas cosas buenas y varias malas también, como a todos. Si bien extraño mucho vivir en la otra ciudad, me he vuelto ligeramente más tolerante con el ambiente en el que vivo en Lima, y eso es bueno. Por ejemplo, mis oídos ya no sangran cuando suena cumbia o latin pop (?). 

Pero me pongo a sumar todo lo bueno y le pega mil patadas a lo malo. Hice cosas este año que en el 2010 no estaba pero ni en mis sueños más realistas hacer (al menos para este año), así como no cumplí con otras que sí quería lograr. Aún me cuesta acostumbrarme a esta ciudad, pero algo he avanzado y eso agradezco, ayuda mucho seguir esta carrera que amo tanto. La idea es seguir con el plan. Y pensando en como estaba a estas alturas del año en el 2010, puedo decir que sí he progresado (yeeee!).

A este nuevo año no le quiero poner muchas expectativas, excepto lo obvio y lo necesario. Lo demás... que me sorprenda de buena manera así como fue con este 2011 que se pasó increíblemente rápido y del que a regañadientes y con varias lágrimas esperadas e inesperadas, terminé disfrutando mucho. 

Ahora los dejo con unas cuantas imágenes que resumen mi año, deseándoles un divertido y muuuy creativo 2012!!

I've been back in Lima for a year now, and a lot and not so much has happened in my life so far. Lots of great things and bad things like everyone else. I still miss living in Santiago, but I've found myself more tolerant to the idea of being back in Lima, more tolerant to its personality. That's good for me, because I was really worried last year of how I was going to do here, back with my family with a new not-so-clean start. 

But in the end, I've realized how good everything went for me this year, I got a chance to do incredible things I wasn't even thinking of doing this year, but I also didn't accomplish other issues I had on my to do list. I'm still trying to get along with this city, which at times can be really hard, but it helps that I feel I'm on the right path this time and I have to keep sticking to the plan for now. But I can say I've progressed somehow. (yay!)

I don't want to put too much expectations for this new year, I just want to be surprised in the good way as I was in 2011. I wasn't expecting too much from this year, and it was very difficult, but I also had a lot of fun. 

So in that note, I leave you wishing you a successful and incredible 2012 for anyone who reads this, as well as a small selection of the best things that happened to me this year. 

Music, festivals, fashion, travel, family, friends.

Oh oh! I found this on my Tumblr last night, I loooved it! I haven't even seen 500 days of Summer (and I'm not planning to) but isn't this the loveliest video you've ever seen? Move over kittens! Zooey and Joseph are in the house!

Update: terminaron las clases y salí airosa así que felices vacaciones! pasé una muy linda navidad con mi familia, y mi hermana está en Lima por unos días! Así que todo muy bien por acá. 

Por ahora me di al descanso que necesitaba mucho, pero las ganas de bloggear me ganan, hay mucho de que hablar y no se por donde comenzar... así que lo dejaré por unos días, pero vuelvo! Verdad! llegaron las cositas de Black Friday!! así probablemente escriba un post sobre eso.

Por ahora estoy más activa en Tumblr ;)

Update: finally the college year in Peru is over! And everything went great so now I'm very dedicated to doing nothing all day long. And I've been having a great time so far. 

Christmas was fun, and my sister is in town for a few days so everything's good over here. Hopefully you're enjoying the Holidays as well as I am. Or better! 

For now I'm still enjoying a much needed rest that involves a lot of reading, laughing and of course sleeping. But I had to blog something, it's been so long! Oh my Black Friday items arrived and I love them!! so maybe I'll blog about it later. 

But for now, I'm way more active on Tumblr so you can check that out if you like!

Particularmente estresada. Ese momento del año en que tu cuerpo y mente ya no funcionan y aún tienes muchas cosas por hacer. Fin de año. A esta altura del año, en años anteriores yo ya estaba terminando finales y como existía la eximición terminaba rindiendo 3 como máximo. Ahora? Hay examen de todo y por todo. Así que hay que cumplir. Lo extraño es que sigo algo relajada y me preocupa, porque se todo lo que me falta por hacer. No se preocupen si no entienden lo que digo, esto es para explicarles por qué no he estado posteando estos días. 

Con lo que me encanta compartir lo que me gusta de la moda, me pone de mal humor no darme el tiempo para escribir por motivos varios. Pero quiero mantener este blog arriba así que este finde planeo ponerme a escribir y tener los posts listos para subirlos durante la semana. 

Con eso dicho, les comparto un cover que escuché hace 3 minutos que Foster The People hizo de uno de los temas que más me gusta de The Strokes, Machu Picchu. Si desean saber más entren a Cuchara Sónica ya que gracias a ellos (y a un amigo que compartió el link) me pude enterar de esto. No me he dado el tiempo de escucharlos (porque al parecer son bastante conocidos) pero por este cover lo haré. En serio, me gustó mucho!

With finals coming up in two weeks and a LOT of work left to do, I haven't gave the time to write and keep this blog going. I have a lot of things in mind I want to post about though! Just need to organize myself in order to do it in the best possible way. So in that note, I'll be writing this weekend in order to publish them during next week. 

As a treat, here's a cover Foster The People made of one of my favorite songs from The Strokes, Machu Picchu. This is the first time I've heard something from this band (though they're sort of famous I believe) and it made me want to listen more from them. So check them out!
